Federico Florian

Federico joined KfW IPEX-Bank GmbH in 2008 and is the Head of the London Branch and Head of Energy, focusing on renewable projects, the water industry, transmission networks, smart meters and district heating from renewable sources. Before joining KfW IPEX-Bank he worked for Bank of Scotland as Director of Structured Finance for the Renewable and Environmental Finance department, developing the solar energy finance market for the bank in Southern Europe. Previously, he worked for Royal Bank of Scotland and before that he was the General Counsel of an infrastructure company partly owned by the IFC (International Finance Corporation, the commercial arm of the World Bank) in Argentina. Author of a book in private-public partnerships and several other articles in specialized magazines, he has a Master in Laws in International Banking & Finance Law at Queen Mary, University of London and a Master in Economic Integration Law at the Université Paris I – Pantheon Sorbonne.
